This delightful weather board cottage was extended to the suit the needs of a young growing family. The extension included creating a first floor comprising three generous sized bedrooms with built in robes and a spacious family bathroom. The ground floor was also extended to create a spacious open plan Kitchen, living, dining area. This dynamic space was enhanced by the installation of two double sliding door opening with fixed lite windows to either side allowing the natural light to flood in as well as creating a seamless transition from the inside to the outside entertaining deck. One of the ground floor bedrooms was divided and turned a large walk in robe and ensuite for the newly defined Master Bedroom. The laundry was also relocated to sit centrally in the home which takes advantage and maximizes the space under the staircase and includes a water closet.

The end result of this build accommodates the growing needs of the family whilst retaining the charm of it cottage appearance.
