Post War style homes were fashionable during the 1940-1960’s period. The cream brick was a particular design of this period especially popular in NSW from 1950 through to 1960. Usually found with 3 or 4 front facing walls its is often referred to as “triple fronted cream brick”.
This example was not unlike many others found through out NSW today. Still featuring the existing 1950s bathrooms and kitchens and much in need of an update. Being sympathetic to the existing style from the outside ensures increased value while modernizing internal spaces has significantly improved the homes lifestyle and livability attributes.
