The existing home in the leafy suburb of Warrandyte was insensitive to the sloping block and much of the backyard was underutilized. As a result, AMINE CONSTRUCTIONS was approached to both design and develop the home and by working together with the Client.

The transformation is truly amazing. The existing weatherboard structure was braced and supported while solid rock foundations were cautiously excavated underneath. A huge new ground floor level forming a children’s retreat and consisting of 3 Bedrooms, Bathroom, Living room and Workshop were added underneath the existing first floor. The addition was cleverly covered with a massive 136 square metre waterproof deck providing magnificent views of the area. The existing home underwent similar treatments. Major renovations included changing more than 32 lineal metres of internal walls, updating the existing bathroom and laundry areas and forming a new and inviting front entrance. This exceptional project is testament to AMINE CONSTRUCTIONS’s attention to detail in both design and build.
